A roof walk means a ladder, a harness, and a person standing on a surface that may not hold. Aerial documentation covers the entire roof in a single flight, including the far slope, the middle of a large membrane, and the flashing behind a parapet. Every finding is numbered, located on a roof diagram, photographed, and rated.
What's Included
Zone-by-Zone Coverage
Five zones documented on every job: field of roof, slopes and drainage, penetrations, flashing and transitions, and edges. Nothing is covered by a general photograph and called done.
Annotated Roof Plan
A full-page roof plan with every finding numbered at its location, so a facilities manager and a roofing contractor are looking at the same map and the same numbers.
Finding Log
Each finding recorded with its zone, condition type, rating, extent, and photo reference. Ratings follow a single published severity scale used across every report we produce.
Penetrations Recorded Individually
Vents, stacks, HVAC curbs, and skylights are each documented separately. Penetrations are where roofs leak, and a roof-wide photograph does not show a cracked boot.
Drainage Evidence
Ponding stains, obstructed drainage paths, and gutter and downspout condition documented from above, where the whole drainage picture is visible at once.
Turnaround
Annotated roof plan and finding log delivered within three business days of the flight.
